This is a 10 year old single cask single malt from Glenallachie, matured in an Oloroso hogshead and marked 2014. It comes in a 70cl bottle, and the whisky has a deep mahogany colour.
The nose brings orange peel, mocha and butterscotch with baking spices, winter truffle and poached orchard fruits. On the palate come demerara sugar, crystallised ginger and chocolate orange, followed by cinnamon butter, mocha and sweet cherries.
