GlenAllachie 18 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 46% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, and its intense chestnut hue comes from the whisky itself.
The spirit is made from Scottish barley, with a 160-hour fermentation and slow distillation, giving a rich and robust character with notes of heather and butterscotch.
The nose offers heather honey, toffee and muscovado sugar, with dark chocolate, caramel and dried sultanas. The palate brings fruit cake, butterscotch and wild Scottish honey, then blackcurrant and almonds, ending with soft oak spice.
