Glenallachie – 2006 13 Year Old Single Cask #6601 For Spirit of Speyside Festival 2020 is a whisky from Glenallachie (Speyside). Aged 13 years, bottled at 60.5% ABV, 70cl. Built in 1891, Glenallachie distillery didn’t begin production until 1898. The whisky from this distillery initially was destined for the White Horse blend, but since Bacardi’s takeover in 1998, the majority of its output now heads for the Dewar’s range. The Glenallachie distillery was bought and mothballed by Invergordon Distillers in 1985. In 2017, Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson, and Trisha Savage bought the distillery as the Glenallachie Distillers Company Limited. Now well established as a single malt in it’s own right, Glenallachie now produces both unpeated and peated sprit, the latest being the Meikle Toir range. Specially selected for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2020.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
