GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 7 is a Speyside single malt made under the direction of Master Distiller Billy Walker. This limited edition spent 21 years maturing in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads.
It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.9% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colouring and no chill-filtration.
The nose brings baked ginger, mocha, honeycomb and spiced orange. On the palate come black cherries, poached red apples, mānuka honey, crystallised ginger and treacle, with espresso, dark chocolate and spiced plums running through the whole.
