GlenAllachie 30 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 3 is a Speyside single malt, the third edition of Billy Walker's 30-year-old. It was bottled in 2023 at a natural cask strength of 48.9%, in a 70cl bottle, with 2,400 bottles produced.
It was matured in hand-selected Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry hogsheads together with American virgin oak casks, all dating to the early 1990s. The distillery bottles its aged whiskies in natural colour.
The colour is deep mahogany. The nose combines roasted almonds, honey and orchard fruits with worn leather, butterscotch, orange zest and dark chocolate. The palate brings grape must, hazelnut, honeycomb, citrus and toffee brittle, with ginger spice. Cinnamon and mocha come through on the finish.
