Glenalmond Blended Malt Whisky (40%)

Glenalmond is a blended malt from the Vintage Malt Whisky Company, combining single malts from selected Scottish Highland distilleries. Which distilleries they are is kept private. The whisky is matured in sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 40%. It takes its name from the River Almond, and the trout on the label was caught in that river. The nose offers vanilla fudge, sweet malted grain, cinnamon and a hint of honey. The palate has plenty of fruity sherry, fresh white stone fruit, candied citrus, vanilla cream and sugared almond. The finish brings dried fruit and a touch of brown sugar, with a long vanilla note.
