Glenburgie – 11 Year Old 2008 Cask #88 Berry Bros. & Rudd (70cl)

This is an 11 year old single malt from Glenburgie, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd from cask 88. The whisky was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2019. Glenburgie was originally known as Kilnflat and stands on the coastal grasslands of the Moray Firth, close to Forres. It was built in 1829 and, together with its sister distillery Miltonduff, became an important part of Scotland's leading blends. The nose is fresh and fruity, with some nuttiness and coconut. The palate is clean, juicy and lively, with ripe fruit balanced by toasted almond, and the finish is long and lingering.
