A 13-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenburgie, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as 71.95, Caribbean Style Mango Habanero Hot Sauce. It was matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel and bottled at 55.3%, with 231 bottles in 70cl size. The tasting notes describe fresh linen drying in a warm summer breeze, with mown lawn and pine forest nearby. The palate is juicy with mango, apricot and pear sprinkled with white pepper, and the finish recalls a Caribbean-style mango habanero hot sauce. Water brings pineapple chunks, red apple and candied rhubarb to the nose.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
