Glenburgie – 13 Year Old 2010/2024 Oloroso Sherry Finish Cask 11126 The Whisky Cellar

This is a single cask Glenburgie, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024 by The Whisky Cellar. After 13 years of maturation it was finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, which add spicy sherry notes. Cask 11126 gave 271 bottles, and each comes in a wooden box. The nose is of dried fruit with a touch of bitter-sweet cocoa. On the palate there is strong chocolate with fresh ginger, and juicy plums that give the body a fruity fullness. The finish is long, with coffee and the mild sweetness of honey, and a hint of roasted nuts.
