A 15-year-old Glenburgie single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2024 at 57.1% for its 100 Proof Exceptional Cask Edition #2.
It matured throughout in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, rather than receiving a short finish. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
On the nose are Pink Lady apple, redcurrant and clementine. The palate is full and velvety, with fruit cake, dark sugar syrup, sweet malt, espresso, roasted almonds and warm sherry-cask spice. The long finish brings dried fruit, bitter cocoa and oak tannins, with a gentle sweetness.
