A 16 year old Glenburgie from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. It is a single cask bottling at 58.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel, which gave 226 bottles. It is a UK exclusive release.
The nose offers lemon, crystallised violet and vanilla pods. The palate brings creamy pineapple, passionfruit and mixed nuts, and the finish is light and delicate, with fruit and oak lingering.
