This 18-year-old Glenburgie was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2026 by The Caskhound. It is number four in the Fashionable Five series and was matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads. It is a Speyside single malt bottled at cask strength. The palate opens soft and oily, almost like liquid satin. Honey sweetness spreads out with a fine herbal note, then fresh apple slices and a hint of citrus arrive. Caramel sits with apricot jam and candied mango, while toasted malt adds depth and an elegant spice holds it together.
