This is a 38-year-old single cask Glenburgie from Speyside, distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was matured in a refill American hogshead, number 10307, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.9% ABV, without added colour and non-chill-filtered.
On the nose, red apple mixes with vanilla cream, cocoa powder and a hint of citrus. The palate is juicy apple and ripe blueberries with black pepper and balanced oak. The finish is medium to long, with soft oak and a clear note of mint.
