Glenburgie – 1989 26 Year Old Mackillop's Choice Cask #16309 (70cl, 53.3%)

This is a single cask Glenburgie from Speyside, bottled independently for the Mackillop's Choice range at cask strength, 53.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in October 1989 and aged for 26 years until it was bottled in January 2016, with an outturn of 145 bottles. The nose is soft and creamy, with toffee, vanilla, hints of white pepper and Bourbon. The palate is complex yet smooth and sweet, with vanilla and spicy wood. The finish is long, with spices and vanilla.
