This is a 27-year-old Glenburgie single malt, bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail at 54.9% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit was distilled in 1994 and matured in a refill sherry hogshead until it was bottled on 3 November 2021. The outturn was 246 bottles.
The nose brings cream, green apple, ginger, honey, vanilla and oak, and is far from a sherry bomb. The palate is full and oily, with lime, grapes, green fruit, pepper and oak, leading to a medium-length, spicy finish.
