A single cask Glenburgie from Speyside, distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2024 at 54.7% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for more than 25 years in a single hogshead, number 6714, which La Maison du Whisky chose for the fourteenth Artist release. The edition runs to 194 bottles, is not chill-filtered and has no added colour, and the label art is by Victor Ekpuk.
The nose is rich and powerful, with pineapple, mirabelle plum, pear, vanilla, green barley and white mint. The palate is fine and smooth, led by malted barley, then candied lemon, cane sugar and ripe banana. The long finish combines liquorice, verbena and sage, ending on menthol and vanilla.
