This is a 27-year-old single cask Glenburgie from Speyside, bottled by North Star Spirits at 51.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled in June 1995 and matured in a refill hogshead until it was bottled in September 2022, giving 210 bottles. North Star Spirits is an independent, family-run bottler founded in Glasgow in 2016. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings grilled lemon and dark berries. On the palate are citrus, black tea and warm honey. The finish ends on a waxy note.
