This is a 30 year old single cask Glenburgie, distilled on 5 September 1995 and chosen by Signatory Vintage for the Symington's Choice range. Cask #201 was finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, and the whisky was bottled on 24 June 2026 at a natural cask strength of 47.4%, in a 70cl bottle. There are 343 bottles, without added colour or chill filtration. The PX influence adds depth to Glenburgie's fragrant, orchard-fruit character. Apricot and peach sit alongside dates, raisins and honey. The palate brings dark chocolate, toffee and ripe plums, with cinnamon, mature oak and roasted nuts. The long finish has dark fruits, gentle sweetness and sherry-soaked oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
