Glenburgie 1996 is an independent single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range. It was distilled in 1996 and bottled on 29 March 2023 at 55.9%, after 26 years in a refill bourbon barrel. The outturn was 140 bottles.
Vanilla and tropical fruit lead the nose, followed by milk chocolate. The palate starts fresh with citrus, alongside marzipan and hints of guava. The finish is full, with tangerine and a mix of nuts.
