A single cask Glenburgie from Speyside, distilled in 2003 and bottled in April 2018 by Ian MacLeod in its Chieftain's series at 46% ABV. The outturn was 398 bottles.
The whisky matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered, and its colour comes from the casks alone.
Vanilla, malt, dried fruit, oak and spice are described, along with lighter fruit and a restrained sherry sweetness.
