This is a 16 year old Glenburgie from 2009, bottled by Dràm Mòr as part of its Spring Release 2025. It was matured in a refill bourbon hogshead, and 203 bottles were filled from the cask.
The nose begins with fresh sweet caramel, then Victoria sponge with cream and apricot jam, and almonds in the background. On the palate, caramel syrup that stays gentle sits with vanilla fudge and a touch of marzipan towards the end.
The finish is fresh and lightly tingling, with a delicate note of white pepper.
