Glenburgie – 2011/2023 12 Year Old 1st Fill Ruby Port Barrique Whisky Druid (56.9%)

This is a 12 year old Glenburgie single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 by Whisky Druid. It is a cask strength whisky at 56.9% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. It matured in a first fill ruby port barrique, and 299 bottles were filled, each in a tube. The port cask gives it dark notes, which are joined by crème brûlée and the warming spice of cardamom.
