This is a nine-year-old Glenburgie single malt, distilled on 24 November 2015 and bottled on 18 June 2025. It is number 11 in Claxton's Exploration Series.
The whisky matured in a fresh tawny port barrique.
The nose is aromatic, with fresh herbs and spices alongside Bakewell tart. On the palate there are strawberries and cream with malty barley sugar. The finish is close to a dessert, with sugary sweetness echoing at the end.
