A 13 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 at 58% ABV. It was filled from a single Pedro Ximenez Spinola cask, which gave 285 bottles in 70cl.
This is the first exclusive from Whisky Situation Aberdeen, made to mark the opening of its whisky bar and cigar lounge. The cask was chosen for its chocolatey, woody taste. The whisky has no added colouring and no filtration.
The nose offers dried figs, black cherries and spices with toffee and stewed fruit. The palate brings chocolate fudge cake, maple syrup and candied pecans over toasted oak, cinnamon and tobacco. The finish is coffee cake, Medjool dates and grilled pineapple, fading to star anise and sugared almond.
