This is a 14 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam, distilled in 2008 and matured in a single Bordeaux barrique. It is bottled at 60% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 261 bottles from the cask.
The wine cask adds its influence to the Glencadam spirit.
The nose is red berries, sea buckthorn jelly, morello cherry and cinnamon buns with nutmeg and ginger. The palate brings black forest gateau, lotus biscuits, black pepper and cake spice with rolling tobacco, raspberry jam and burnt oak. The finish is chocolate and cherry liqueur and black coffee, fading into cocoa powder, bramble compote and cedarwood.
