Glencadam – Reserve de Bordeaux (46%)

Glencadam Reserve de Bordeaux is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% vol. It matures first in ex-bourbon casks of American oak, then takes a finish in hand-selected French Merlot barriques. The style is rich, fruity and balanced, with long-lasting berry fruit, and Glencadam's fine fruit character carries through into the finish. The nose has wild strawberries, fruit sweets, cedar, blackberry jam and ginger biscuits. The palate layers stewed fruit, rhubarb crumble, cocoa, roasted chestnuts and oak spice, and the finish lingers with dark chocolate cherry liqueur, espresso and soft baking spices.
