This is a Highland single malt from Glencadam, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The whisky was first matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels in the distillery's dunnage warehouses. It then spent further time in hand-selected Pinot Noir wine barrels from Burgundy, France.
The nose is of blackcurrant jam, nutmeg, dark chocolate and figs. The palate is oily, with Black Forest gateau, woody spices, toffee apples, vanilla custard and cinnamon, leading to a rich, well spiced finish.
