Glencoe 10 Year Old Blended Malt (70cl, 46%)

Glencoe 10 Year Old is a blended malt named after the Scottish glen, made from malt whiskies aged for at least ten years and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Rory MacDonald launched Glencoe in the 1960s, when he ran the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe. The Ben Nevis distillery took over the brand in the 1990s and offers it as an original bottling. The nose opens with ripe banana and orange marmalade, followed by spicy wood and roasted nuts. The palate is soft and mouth-filling, with orange and banana sweetness, restrained spice and dark chocolate behind. The finish is long and smooth, with chocolate notes and fine spice.
