This is The Sevillian Room, a GlenDronach House Edition. It is a Highland single malt in a one-litre bottle, from a distillery whose tradition goes back to 1826.
The whisky was matured in a combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Palo Cortado sherry casks. Rachel Barrie, the master blender, is credited with the edition.
Its theme is Seville and the Moorish culture of Andalusia, and the triple cask maturation is linked to the generous hospitality of the distillery's founder, James Allardice.
