A 12 year old Glendullan single malt from Speyside, bottled in the Flora & Fauna series.
The colour is pale, like white wine. The nose is fresh, fruity and lightly oaky, with freshly cut apples, gooseberries and hints of wet stone and flint.
The palate opens with liquorice and malt, then develops a long fruity run of apples and bananas that are not too ripe, with notes of bamboo shoot and pleasant oak. It is thick and rich, finishing long on malt, oatcake and apple skin.
