A 16 year old single malt from Glenfarclas, bottled at cask strength without dilution. The 105 in the name refers to its strength of 60% ABV. It was matured in sherry casks and released in an outturn of 5280 bottles worldwide.
The nose is led by bold spice, nutmeg and cinnamon, followed by vanilla and butterscotch. On the palate there are stewed fruits, Christmas cake and more butterscotch, with a hint of almond and sherried spice. The finish is very long, with dark chocolate and further sherry notes.
