Glenfarclas – 105 Cask Strength (70cl, 60%)

Glenfarclas 105 is a cask strength single malt, bottled at 60% abv in a 70cl bottle. The 105 in the name is its strength in British proof. An earlier version released in 1968 made Glenfarclas the first distillery to release a barrel proof single malt. It carries no age statement. The sweet, rich, spicy character of the distillery is still clear at this strength, and a very small drop of water is recommended to open up the flavours. It is usually described as drying, assertive and richly spiced.
