The nose is complex and oaky, with apples and pears and a dark toffee sweetness. The palate is dry and assertive, quickly revealing a rich spiciness with a hint of oak and sherried fruit.
The finish is warming and rounded, with a lingering spiciness, and notably smooth for the strength.
