Glenfarclas 105 is a cask strength Speyside single malt, bottled at 60% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Glenfarclas has been owned and run by the Grant family since 1865, and the fifth generation now looks after it.
The whisky is matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is oaky and complex, with apples, pears and a dark toffee sweetness. The palate is dry and assertive, opening to rich spice, a hint of oak and sherried fruit. The finish is warming and rounded, with lingering spice.
