This is an 11 year old Glenfarclas single malt from 2015, a distillery bottling from a single first-fill sherry butt, cask number 7. It opens a new series of cask selections made by specialist retailers for the Local Dealer Community.
It was bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 57% ABV, with 667 bottles filled.
The nose has stewed dark fruit, figs, dates and dark jam, with brown sugar, leather, a little tobacco and savoury spice. The palate starts sweet, with cherry and strawberry, then leather, soft wood and sherry spice, with hints of candyfloss and burnt almonds. The finish is long.
