Glenfarclas 11 Years Old is a Speyside single malt matured in sherry casks and bottled by J&G Grant at 46% in a 1 litre bottle. The label dates the distillery to 1836. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is fresh and citrusy with a soft touch of caramel. Warm spice runs through the palate alongside stewed orchard fruit and soft toffee, and the smooth finish carries hints of sherry.
