A 12 year old single cask Speyside malt from Glenfarclas, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024 as Whisky Sponge Edition No.93 under the Glenlitigious name. It is bottled at 53% in a 70cl bottle, and 215 bottles were filled.
The spirit started in a first-fill barrel, then spent over two years in a first-fill sherry hogshead.
Glenfarclas is family owned and still heats some of its stills by direct fire. It matures its whisky almost entirely in ex-sherry casks.
