Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, from the family-owned Glenfarclas distillery. It continues the distillery's sherry cask style.
The nose has warm honey, dried fruit and gentle oak, with hints of citrus and vanilla. On the palate come toffee, sultana, malt sweetness and a touch of spice from the sherry wood, with a subtle nuttiness and soft oak. The finish is long, smooth and warming, with fruitcake, caramel and gentle spice.
