Glenfarclas 12 Years is a single malt matured for twelve years in specially made Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% abv in a one-litre bottle.
The distillery stands near the village of Marypark, only a mile from the River Spey, and its history goes back to 1836. The Grant family, J. & G. Grant, bought it in 1865, and the sixth generation is now involved in running it.
