This Glenfarclas 15 Year Old is a single malt made to mark the distillery's sponsorship of Cheltenham Racecourse. It celebrates the 15 champions of the Festival Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase Races. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, in an edition of 3,000 bottles.
The whisky is sherry-influenced and made with peated barley.
The nose offers light butterscotch and dried fruit. The full-bodied palate brings earthy peat, sherry and malty sweetness, leading to a long, smoky-sweet finish.
