This is a 15 year old single malt from Glenfarclas, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The name Glenfarclas means 'glen of the green grassland'. The whisky has a rich amber colour.
The nose brings warm spice, dried fruit and subtle oak. On the palate come toffee, dark chocolate and orchard fruit, with a gentle warmth. The finish is long, with vanilla and wood spice.
