Glenfarclas 15 Years is a Speyside single malt with a marked sherry character, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay, and the Grant family later built its whisky into a name known around the world.
The nose has intense butterscotch, balanced by green apple, blueberries and orange peel. The palate is rich and layered, with burnt sugar, maple syrup, rich fruit, delicate peat and malt, and hints of cinnamon. The finish is long.
