This is a 16 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is of natural colour and non-chill-filtered. It was introduced in 2025 for travel retail.
The distillery has been licensed since 1836 and has been owned by the Grant family since 1865.
The nose shows raisins and figs with toffee, dark caramel, roasted nuts, orange peel, oak and leather. The palate is full and round, with sherry sweetness, dark dried fruit, honey and dark chocolate, shaped by cinnamon, nutmeg and oak. The finish is warm and medium to long, with dried fruit, nuts and dry oak spice.
