Glenfarclas 17 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by J&G Grant at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The label gives 1836 as the year the distillery was established.
The nose is complex, with creamy caramel, malt husks aged in sherry casks, dates and a touch of peat. The palate is full and rich, with warm nutmeg, sherry-aged fruit, cinnamon and mixed citrus peel. The finish is long, spiced and sweet, with a light smoky note at the end.
