Glenfarclas – 185th Anniversary Edition

This Glenfarclas single malt from Speyside was released in 2021 to celebrate the 185th anniversary of the distillery's licensing in 1836, although it is believed to have been distilling illicitly for a number of years before that. The distillery uses direct-fired stills, which give a heavy single malt, and matures almost all of its whisky in Jerez sherry casks. This edition numbers 6,000 bottles.
