Glenfarclas – 185th Anniversary Edition

This is a Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, released in 2021 to mark 185 years since the distillery was licensed. The distillery is believed to have operated illicitly for some years before its licence of 1836. Glenfarclas matures its whisky almost exclusively in Jerez sherry casks, and its direct-fired stills produce a heavy style of single malt. This anniversary edition was released in a run of 6,000 bottles.
