Glenfarclas – 185th Anniversary Edition (70cl)

Glenfarclas 185th Anniversary Edition is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, released by the distillery to mark 185 years of legal distilling. Glenfarclas was first licensed in May 1836, when the Rechlerich Farm took on the designation of distillery. The whisky was assembled from casks chosen across the decades held in the distillery's dunnage warehouses, which hold casks from the 1950s to the 2020s. Glenfarclas fills two thirds of its spirit into Spanish sherry oak casks and one third into plain oak, and this bottling is described as combining old, rich, sherried flavours that stay fresh and vibrant.
