Glenfarclas – 1958 Family Casks Release A13

Glenfarclas 1958 is a single cask Speyside malt from the Family Casks series, Release A13 of autumn 2013. It was filled on 23 December 1958 into a sherry-seasoned hogshead, number 2064, and rested in the Grant family's dunnage warehouses until it was drawn in June 2013. It was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, and 158 numbered bottles were filled. The notes describe a honey and malt heart with antique oak, orchard and dark fruit, and rancio spice.
