This is a Glenfarclas single malt from the Family Casks range, distilled in 1968 and bottled in July 2014 at 46 years old and 55.6%. It matured in a single sherry butt, cask number 230, and the outturn was 352 bottles. It formed part of the Autumn 2014 Family Cask release.
It is described as rich and complex, with prune, cherries in eau de vie, spice, a pinch of salt and fine woods, along with dates, orange and leather.
