This is a single malt from Glenfarclas in Speyside, distilled in 1987 and matured in a sherry hogshead from the Family Casks series. The bottling is a single-cask release of 262 bottles, in a 70cl bottle at 55.1% vol.
The nose brings orange peel, blossom honey, tree resin and vanilla pods. On the palate come orange jam, apricot, peach, marzipan, almonds and honey. The finish carries dark wood and fruit, with hazelnuts and chocolate.
